Patricia A. Kane

Patricia A. (Welch) Kane age 80 years died in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Born in Boston on September 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Catherine E. (Burke) Welch. She graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1986 moving from Roslindale.

Mrs. Kane served as the financial officer for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Alumni Fund for 30 years.

She enjoyed following the Red Sox and reading. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Kane. Loving mother of Karen F. and her husband Joseph Savio of Norwood. Cherished grandmother of Vincent T. Savio.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church Walpole on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM. An hour of visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 8:30 - 9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Forest Hills Cemetery.
