Patricia A. (Odell) Hess, age 71, died in her Foxborough, Massachusetts home on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Born in Newton, Massachusetts on April 16, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Mimi F. (Braganti) Odell. She graduated from Greenbriar Academy in Lewisbury, West Virginia with the class of 1960. She continued her education at Garland College in Boston, graduating with the class of 1963. She has been a resident of Foxborough for the past 8 years moving from East Walpole.
Patricia spent most of her life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. She worked as a receptionist at State Street Financial and Whitehall Liquor Distributors in Westwood.
She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, road trips, and spending time at the beach. Patricia loved all animals, especially her dogs. She loved spending time with her friends in the "Club" and her train friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Beloved wife of Louis F. Cole. Loving mother of John Michael Hess of East Walpole, Kristin Olson and her husband Douglas of East Walpole, and Kelly Hess of East Walpole. Step mother of Cynthia Lewicki and her husband Frederick of Plainville and James Cole and his wife Kristen of Attleboro. Cherished grandmother of Isabella, Kevin Michael, Cameron Edward, Laura, Ryan, Joseph, Kelsey, and James. Also survived by her loving dog, Jake.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Mass that will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted and interment will be private.
