Patricia M. Connolly

Patricia M. (Costello) Connolly age 81 years died in the Newton-Wellesley Alzheimer's Center in Wellesley, Massachusetts on Monday, February 14 2011. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on March 31 1929; she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Lydon) Costello. She graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1947. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1951 moving from Norwood.

She worked as a medical transcriptionist at Norwood Hospital for 20 years and then worked for various doctor's offices for an additional 20 years.

She enjoyed bowling, bingo, reading, old movies, and watching both the Red Sox and the Patriots. Most of all she was devoted to her family and raising her 7 children.

Loving mother of Robert Connolly of Walpole, Kevin Connolly of East Falmouth, Diane Racette of Brewster, Michael Connolly of Nantucket, Judith Balboni of Wellesley, Mark Connolly of North Attleboro, and Sean Connolly of Bellingham. Cherished grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 10. Sister of the late Patrick Costello, Edward Costello, Thomas Costello, Robert Costello, Vincent Costello, James Costello, Catherine Kiley, and Helen Thompson. Sister in law of Barbara Costello of Norwood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street, Walpole on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10 A.M. Visiting hours are Friday, February 18, 2011 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery in Norwood. Memorial donations may be made to: the charity of your choice.
