Pamela (Swann) Smith-Maisch, age 59, passed away on Thursday August 23, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Stoughton, Massachusetts on April 27, 1959, she graduated from West Bridgewater High School with the Class of 1977. She continued her education at North Adams State College, earning her Bachelor's Degree in 1981.
After welcoming her children in 1985, Pam left the working world to take on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her young family in their East Walpole home. Once her children were all enrolled in school, she began working at the R.J. Smith Insurance Agency in Norwood, beginning in 1997. Pam went on to split her time between the insurance agency and the Conservation Commission at the Town of Walpole, working out of the Town Hall, until her retirement in 2017.
In 2012, Pam settled into her new home in Foxborough with her soon to be husband, David W. Maisch. They were married on May 18, 2018 and continued to make their home together in Foxborough. Once retired, Pam found part time work at Benchmark's Willow Crossing in Mansfield, taking a receptionist's position for the past year.
Pam loved reading and recently found her love for traveling, taking several trips to California to visit her son, Josh, and his family. Back at home, Pam loved being surrounded by her family and friends, truly cherishing every minute. In February 2018, Pam was fortunate enough to take on the role of "Nana", a role that she cherished deeply.
