Nina Lee Weinacker

Nina Lee (Newton) Weinacker, age 77, died in the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on June 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Randal and Bernice (Power) Newton. She has been a resident of Westwood, Massachusetts for the past 3 years moving from Foxborough, where she resided for 45 years.

Nina was a homemaker for all of her adult life, raising and caring for her family.

She enjoyed playing cards, collecting antiques, camping, and boating. In addition, she was a member of several bowling leagues at the Diamond Hill Bowling Alley, and was an avid collector of dolls.

Beloved wife of the late Ernst P. Weinacker. Loving mother of Laura Hollis of Boston, Leslie Scaldini of NH, Kenneth Traphagen of RI, Nina Perednia of Methuan, Tracy Jordan of Foxborough, Michael Weinacker of RI and the late Rachel Ribiero. Step mother of Phillip Weinacker of FL and Ellen Lupien of North Attleboro. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother of many. Sister of Erroll Newton of NH.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Nina's Life Celebration on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 6-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. Funeral service and interment will be private.
