Nicholette Baltadonis

Mrs. Nicholette (Carbone) Baltadonis age 97 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital , Norwood, Massachusetts on Friday morning, January 30th, 2009. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 20, 1911, the daughter of the late Rocco and Maria (DiPaulo) Carbone. Educated in Hyde Park. She moved to East Walpole from Readville in 1948.

A homemaker for most of her adult life. She was once employed at Rustcraft in Dedham, and later worked 10 years at Walpole High School in the cafeteria.

She loved to crochet, to garden, she had a vegetable garden and flower gardens. (Up until last year she maintained the garden of flower next to her home at the 204 restaurant in East Walpole.) A few years ago she made a trip to Switzerland to visit her husband Eugene's Family, enjoyed 2 weeks traveling the area. She had a love of sports and never missed a Red Sox or a Bruins Game, and even made several trips to Fenway Park and one or two to the Boston Garden.

Her love of people, let her enjoy all types of social events and especially parties. Her greatest love was her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Chitvanni and the late John W. Baltadonis Loving mother of Joseph E. Chitvanni of Walpole, Alice M. Schoots of North Carolina , John W. Chitvanni of Georgia and Eugene J. Chitvanni of East Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Irene , Amy, Andrew, and Jason Chitvanni, Melinda, Meredith, and John Allan, Lisa, Chloe, and Nicholas Chitvanni , LeeAnn DiRienzo. Great grandmother of Madeline, Joshua, Ayame, Emerson, Tao, Sean and Reese. Sister of Frederick Carbone of Bourne and pre deceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Mother in law of Patricia E. Chitvanni, Peter Schoots, Valerie Chitvanni and Patricia D. Chitvanni

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 @ 9AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, February 3, 2009 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
