Nicholas Marinilli

December 7, 1935 — January 22, 2023

Nicholas Marinilli, age 87, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Walpole Healthcare in Walpole, Massachusetts.  Born in Casale de Cocullo, Italy on December 7, 1935, he was the son of the late John and Preziosa (Risio) Marinilli.  He spent the first eighteen months of his life in Italy, before boarding a boat, bound for the United States of America with his mother.  Upon their arrival in the US, the Marinilli family made their home in the small suburban town of Walpole, Massachusetts, where Nick graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1955. Following his graduation, Nick took a position with the Farrington Texol Corporation in Walpole, working as a machine operator.

As a young man, Nick was an avid outdoors man, spending countless hours hunting in the woods.  He also enjoyed bowling with his dear friend, Anthony Simonelli at Petracca's Lanes just outside Walpole center.  Nick looked forward to cultivating his vegetable garden every year, taking the time to ensure each plant was well cared for.  When the work in the garden was done, Nick loved relaxing in his home, watching his favorite Boston sports teams on television.

Devoted son of the late John and Preziosa (Risio) Marinilli.

Loving brother of Mary Marinilli of Walpole, Dalia Marinilli of Attleboro, and the late John Marinilli, Jr.

Also survived by his many loving cousins from around the world.
