Nancy E. Sjoberg

Miss Nancy E. Sjoberg age 84 years died in the Norwood Hospital on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Born in Norwood, on January 30, 1928, she was a life long resident of Walpole. She was a 1945 graduate of Walpole High School. She later graduated from Hickox Secretarial School in Boston in 1957. She also earned 2 certificates from the University of Denver Community College, the first was Law for Secretaries and the second was Business Organization and Management for Secretaries. She earned both in 1959.

She was a retired employee of the Equitable Insurance Society, where she worked for over 30 years.

Miss Sjoberg was a life member of Runeberg Lodge in Walpole and the Emmanuel Luthern Church in Norwood.

She delivered Meal on Wheels for HESSCO for a number of years Walpole and the surrounding area.

Devoted daughter of the late John and Thekla (Berglund) Sjoberg. Sister of Thelma Fullerton wife of Fred in Glastonbury, Ct, Joan Carlson wife of Bob in Walpole, MA and the late E. Raphael Sjoberg survived by his wife Barbara in Pawtucket, RI. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be celebrated in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at1:00 PM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 3 to 7 PM.
