Muriel Rosalie McGrath of Martinsville, VA died Sunday, November 14, 2010 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born in Berlin, NH on February 3, 1940 to Armand and Amanda Ouellette.
She served in the US Army from 1958 to 1960.
She was a mother and a nurse's aide in New York and Massachusetts and also worked for a time in local government administration.
She was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Martinsville where she and her husband relocated in 2005.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joel McGrath, as well as 2 sisters, 1 brother, 6 children, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren scattered from Maine to Florida to California.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Saint Mary's Church 176 Washington Street East Walpole on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society 101A First Ave, Suite 6 Waltham, MA 02451.
