Monica A. Macchi

Monica A. (Skaparas) Macchi age 93 years died in the Harrington House in Walpole, Massachusetts on Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Born in Newton on December 7, 1914 to her parents Anthony and Victoria (Jernalavitch) Skaparas, she graduated from Newton High School with the class of 1932. She had been living in Walpole since 1939.

Mrs. Macchi was a homemaker, she enjoyed caring for her husband and son. This evolved once she had grandchildren, as they became her pride and joy.

She was a avid gardener, growing many flowers in her garden.

Beloved wife of the late A. Philip Macchi Loving mother of Philip H. and his wife Janet R. (Dubuc) Macchi of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Philip H. Macchi of Walpole, Heather J. Macchi of Foxboro and Craig A. Macchi of Avon, CT. sister of the late Eleanor Jenkins and the late Michael Skaparas

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Saint Timothy's Church Nichols Street Norwood on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday morning, August 21, 2008 from 8:30 - 9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Knollwood Memorial Park.
