Michael Peter Rouille

Michael Peter Rouille, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at his home in Hardwick, MA.  Born in Norwood, MA  on September 12, 1957 he was the son of the late Raymond T, & Helen (Turowski) Rouille.  He grew up in Plainville, MA and graduated in 1975 from King Philip Vocational High School in Wrentham, MA where he learned his trade and future vocation as a machinist.  

Michael married his beloved wife, Mary E  (Shubitowski) Rouille on March 18, 1978 at the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Walpole.  The couple made their home in Attleboro, MA for many years, then Mike & Mary decided to move south  to Harrisburg, NC, where he took  the Superintendent  position with Flowserve. Eight & a half years ago, Mike & Mary return home to Massachusetts to continue his work as a pump specialist with Chas G Allen Co in Barre MA. 

Mike loved watching sports, whether on his TV or in person.  He loved the Patriots and his bedroom showed it, with team colors  everywhere.  While in North Carolina He also enjoyed playing golf with his buddies at his favorite courses or catching a NASCAR race. He  enjoyed taking on a project or two around the house fixing anything that needed attention.

He was the loving father of Michael P. Rouille, Jr. and his wife Heather Compton of Concord, NC, Christopher J. Rouille of Hardwick, MA and Caitlin E. Mitchem  and her husband Bryan of Harrisburg, NC. Cherished grand father to Jace, Sawyer and Parker.  He is also survived by his sister, Linda Cobb of Attleboro, MA, Teresa Rockett of Foxborough, and Raymond Rouille, Jr and his wife Barbara of Concord, NH, and the late Helen Farris. Also survived by his brother-in-law Lennie  Shubitowski and his wife Kathy  of Easton, MA.  And cousins, along with a list of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews to many to mention. 

At the request of Michael's family, all funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michael's name may be made to The American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA  01701.
