Michael J. Prevett

December 1, 1919 — April 11, 2007

Michael J. Prevett died in the Maples Nursing and rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the age of 87. Born in Dedham, MA on December 1, 1919 he attened Dedham High School. He joined the United States Navy to serve his country During World War II as a Chief Petty Officer. He went on to work for himself as a carpenter.

He was a member of the Tin Can Sailors, the VFW Post # 5188, and the Walpole Country Club

Mr. Prevett was an avid golfer hunter and gardener, and from his garden he donated food to food pantry in Pocasset.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Bussell) Prevett Loving father of Michael A. Prevett of Philippines, Nancy J. Martell of FL, Janice Monbouquette of Plainville, Lois I. Prevett-McCarthy of W. Wareham, Deborah A. Kazuschyk of Franklin Cherished grandfather of 8 Brother of John C. Prevett, Peter J. Prevett and the late Frances D'Ovidio, Josephine Priore, Salvatore, Frank, Leo, Domenic, Anthony Also survived by many nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service that will be celebrated in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Saturday, April 14, 2007 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Friday, April 13, 2007 3-7PM. Interment in Saint Mary's Cemetery Dedham. Memorial donations may be made to: Nation Pancreas Foundation 364 Boylston Street, 4th Floor Boston, MA 02116 in memory of Margaret Prevett.
