Michael P. Gotovich

Michael P. Gotovich, aged 38, passed away from complications of diabetes on Saturday October 29th, 2022 at his home.

He was the son of Janet O'Toole Dardano and stepson to A. Peter Dardano, of Maine.  Loving nephew of and remained in touch over the years with Uncle Bob, Aunt Barbara & Aunt Constance along with other aunts, uncles and many cousins. 

Michael was pre-deceased by his father Paul in 2004 and his younger brother Stephen in 1999.  Mike was keenly aware of his brother's physical limitations and was astonishingly swift and insightful to his needs.  Mike possessed an unknown advocacy trait in the eyes of some who witnessed it.  He adored his grandmothers, especially Nana Louise.  His grandpa Hank always amazed him with his collections of stuff and making the house smell delicious with his special soups.

He studied graphic design technology and fulfilled all requirements.  Left behind are pieces of his finished projects from the beginning.  He left this career but found it later as a cutter, which he enjoyed and certainly the people that gave him that chance. Thank you GI !

Michael enjoyed spending any free time with his most favorite dog Maci and his long time friend Laura.  They certainly had a special place in each other's hearts and through various ups and downs in life, encouraged each other.  They found the unique in each other which doesn't come easy in lots of relationships.   

And so this earthly visit ends.  His time came earlier than some but hopefully another torch will be lit to pass on to do a good deed daily-even if to make someone smile - which is what Mike was good at-friend or stranger.
