Melanie M. Lohmiller

Melanie M. Lohmiller age 57 years died in Mansfield, Massachusetts on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Born in Medford, Massachusetts on December 1, 1954, she graduated from Sharon High School with the class of 1972 and went on to attend the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She was most recently a resident of Sharon, Massachusetts, moving there from Foxborough where she spent 24 years.

She worked for Covidian as a contract administrator for 15 years.

She enjoyed reading, theatre, and traveling especially to Africa and China.

Loving mother of Margaret E. "Maggie" Lohmiller of Sharon. Devoted daughter of Margaret Mary (Macomber) Lohmiller of Sharon and the late Charles F. Lohmiller. Sister of Charles Bradford Lohmiller and his wife Muazzez of Sharon, Keith Frank Lohmiller of Sharon, Eleanor Andrea Barstow and her husband Charles E. of Perry, Maine, and the late Nancy E.H. Lohmiller. Cherished aunt of Nancy Lohmiller of Sharon, Frederick L. Barstow of Perry, Maine, Grace E. Barstow of Perry, Maine, and the late Linda Belliveau. Dear friend of Donna Bentley of Mansfield, Linda Strano of Sharon, and Victoria Strong of West Roxbury. Also survived by an aunt, many cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church Cottage Street Sharon on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Friday, April 13, 2012 from 4-8PM at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
