Matthew T. Brady

Matthew T. Brady, age 60, passed away in the Stonehedge Health Care Center in West Roxbury, Massachusetts on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Born in Natick, Massachusetts on November 14, 1956, he was the son of Robert W. Brady and the late Theresa F. (O'Sullivan) Brady. He was raised in Medfield and was a member of Saint Edward's Church. After attending Mercymount Middle School in Cumberland, Rhode Island, Matthew graduated from Medfield High School with the Class of 1975.

Following graduation, Matthew began his career in construction with Arthur Owens Construction in Medfield, building single homes along the Charles River in both Millis and Medway. He went on to take a framing job with Henderson Brothers Construction before moving on to White Concrete in Medfield.

Throughout his life, Matthew was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed canoeing on the Charles River, fresh water fishing, and spending time hiking throughout the trails of New England.

Devoted son of Robert W. Brady and his wife Mary Rockwood Brady of Walpole and the late Theresa F. (O'Sullivan) Brady.
Loving brother of Theresa E. Hudson of Foxborough, Michael J. Brady of Dunedin. Florida, Kevin P. Brady of Tucson, Arizona, and John F. Brady of Medway.
Cherished uncle of 5 and great uncle of 2.
Also survived by many members of his extended family and friends, including Cynthia Kellner Brow of Arkansas and Andrew Breen of Medfield.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Matthew's Life Celebration on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 4-7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, Massachusetts 01701.
