Mary Louise Pereira

Mrs. Mary L. (Boggia) Pereira age 102 died on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in the Charlwell House in Norwood, Massachusetts. Born in Watertown, Massachusetts, on January 4, 1909, she was the daughter of Phillip and Victoria (Taucci) Boggia. She was educated at Watertown High School. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 40 years, moving there from Watertown.

Mrs. Pereira was a homemaker for all of her adult life.

She was a former member of the Walpole Women's Club, the Walpole Council on Aging, and loved to paint with oils.

Beloved wife of the late Manuel S. Pereira. Loving mother of Dolores A. and her husband Nicholas Efthim of Walpole and the late Carole E. Pereira. Cherised Grandmother of Carole J. and her husband Michael G. O'Rourke of Medway. Great Grandmother of Nicholas M. O'Rourke and Jill E. O'Rourke both of Medway. Sister of the late John Boggia, the late Edward Boggia, the late Eda Thompson, and the late Matthew Boggia.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 4PM to 7PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
