Mary Josephine (Giorgio) Morales, age 88, passed away peacefully in her Walpole, Massachusetts home on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Menotti and Anna (Camara) Giorgio. She was raised in Dedham, Massachusetts, graduating from Dedham High School with the Class of 1949. Mary remained in Dedham while welcoming her first two children, Debbie and Joanmarie, however, in 1962, she moved her family to San Leandro, California, where she welcomed her son, Paul.
Mary returned to the East Coast in 1965, settling in Walpole, Massachusetts with her beloved husband, Robinson H. “Bob” Morales. In Walpole, Mary took on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her young family. While her primary focus was her family, Mary also enjoyed a very busy social calendar. She loved meeting friends for lunch and looked forward to attending weekend dances at the VFW Hall and the American Legion with her husband, Bob. Most of all, Mary loved entertaining guests in her home. She was a wonderful cook and regularly invited her friends and neighbors over to share a meal. Once the backyard pool was open for the season, dinner was moved outdoors and almost always took on the form of a party for many friends and family.
