Mary J. Macphee

Mrs. Mary J. (Powers) MacPhee age 73 years died in the Avow Hospice in Naples , Florida on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 3, 1936, the daughter of Patrick and Catherine (Brazil) Powers. She graduated from Mission High School with the Class of 1954.

A resident of Walpole for the past 44 years moving here from Mission Hill

Mrs. MacPhee worked as a secretary in the Walpole Public Schools and retired as a secretary for Lorusso Sand and Gravel.

Beloved wife of Michael D. MacPhee, Jr. Loving mother of Michael D. and his wife Faith MacPhee, III of Norwood, Laura A. and her husband Peter O'Brien , Neil G. MacPhee and Kenneth J. MacPhee all of WAlpole Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Sam O'Brien of Walpole Sister of James Powers of Wellesley, Robert Powers of California, and the late Nancy Salonen.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route #27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, April 8, 2010 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 4pm to 8pm in James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
