Mary C. MacNeil

Mary C. (MacDonald) MacNeil age 88 years died in Sedgewood Common Nursing Facility in Falmouth, Maine on Monday, December 24, 2007. She was born in Allston, Massachusetts on May 27, 1920 to her parents Neil and Jessie MacDonald. She graduated from Brighton High School with the class of 1938. Mrs. MacNeil had been living in Maine for the past 40 years, and previously had been living in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Mrs. MacNeil was the manager at The Card Store in Portland as well as The Carriage Lantern in South Portland for 20 years.

She enjoyed square dancing and belonged to a square dancing group in Maine.

Beloved wife of the late John E. MacNeil. Loving mother of Carol Ann Walsh of Walpole, John N. MacNeil of Hilton, NY, and Sandra M. MacNeil of Gray, ME. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 5. Sister of the late Virginia DeMarco, George McDonald, and John F. McDonald.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt. 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Friday, December 28, 2007 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
