MRS. MARY ELIZABETH (FOLEY) JENNINGS DIED IN MEMORIAL MISSION HOSPITAL , ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 2ND, 2005. Born in Norwood, she attended the Norwood Public Schools and graduated from Norwood High School.

A life long resident of Norwood.

Mrs. Jennings retired in 1997 after 29 years of service as the head cook at Norwood High School Cafeteria. She also worked as a cocktail waitress at Concannon's Village , Norwood for 18 years.

She was a member of St. Catherines Church in Norwood, and of the Basilica of St. Lawrence in Asheville, NC. An avid bowler Her true love was for her grandchildren and her great grandchildren

Beloved wife of the late John W. "Sonny" Jennings Loving mother of Mary E. "Betsy" O'Connell of Asheville, NC, John W. Jennings of Norwood and the late Sue Ann Cook Cherished grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 2 Daughter of the late James F. "Shinksy" Foley and Mary E. (Drummey) Foley Sister of James F. Foley , Stephen G. Foley both of Norwood, the late Ellen Cotter, the late Margaret Eckhardt, the late William Foley and the late Ann Foley Also survived by several nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Saint Catherines Church Norwood on Monday August 8th, 2005 at 9AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Sunday afternoon 4 to 8pm, in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. interment in Highland Cemetery Norwood.
