Mary Wyatt-Wojdag Connolly

Mrs. Mary (Wyatt-Wojdag) Connolly died in the Hadley at Elaine Nursing Home in Hadley, Massachusetts on Friday, April 15, 2011. Born in Brockton, Massachusetts on September 6, 1933, she was the daughter of Earl and Blanche (Whitman) Wyatt. She was raised in Rockland, Massachusetts and graduated from Rockland High School with the Class of 1951. She later graduated from the Hairdressing Academy in Walpole.

She raised 4 sons and 1 daughter in Walpole, MA. She was remarried to Walpole resident, Robert Connolly. They retired to Sarasota, FL. Mary moved to Lee, MA in November 2004.

She is survived by her 5 children, Edwin Wojdag, David Wojdag both of Upton, MA a'" John Wojdag of Bellingham, MA a'" Russell Wojdag of Sarasota, FL, and Mary E. Nowe, Lee, MA. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Alice Porter and Beatrice Tellier, both of Florida.

In Walpole, she worked as a hairdresser. She also was a gifted artist and worked with oils, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, and ink. She loved working with flowers in the gardens at home. She also enjoyed watching and feeding birds and other wildlife. She was kind and loving, sweet, gentle, and most giving. She is remembered with great love and affection.

Relatives and friends are kindly to attended the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Tuesday, April 20th, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, April 19th 2011 from 4pm to 7pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
