Mary Elizabeth (Coffey) Collins age 66 years died in the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday, June 29, 2009. Born in Jamacia Plain, Massachusetts on May 21, 1943; she was the daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth (Hammond) Coffey. She graduated from Jamacia Plain High School with the class of 1962. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 44 years, moving from Jamacia Plain.

She was a homemaker for all of her adult life.

Mrs. Collins was an avid knitter,belonging to Dee's Nimble Needles Knitting Circle in Walpole. She also enjoyed cooking, decorating cakes, working with ceramics and crafts, as well as shopping. Most especially she enjoyed spending time with family, neighbors, friends, and her Dialysis groups in both Norwood and Westwood.

Beloved wife of Lawrence V. "Larry" Collins. Loving mother of Shawn and his wife Melissa Collins of Daytona, FL, Michelle Collins Greaney of Franklin, Gary and his wife Heidi Collins of Nantucket, Keith Collins of Walpole, Melissa and her husband Rodney Lukowski of Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Patrick Greaney, Madeline and Liam Collins, Mason and Chase Lukowski, and Amanda Collins. Sister of Edward Coffey of Dedham, Leo Coffey of Plymouth, the late Dorothy Gallagher, and the late Virginia Tardivo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, July 2, 2009 @ 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Knollwood Memorial Park Canton, Massachusetts.
