MRS. MARY L. (SILVI) CIVITA A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF WALPOLE DIED ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 19TH, 2005. Born in the family home on Main Street in Walpole, she was educated there, and graduated from Walpole High School.
Mrs. Civita was the owner of Tee Tee's Restaurant in Walpole Center for over 10 years retiring from there in 1970. Prior to that she was a secretary for Christian Herder in the Department of Commerce, in Washington D.C. and later she was asked to rejoin his staff as a secretary while he was Governor of Massachusetts.
A member of the Legion of Mary at Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Italian American Club in Walpole.
Beloved wife of the late Peter A. Civita Loving mother of Janet Ann and her husband John F. Cox of Walpole Cherished grandmother of Jessica L. Cox, Sally A. Cox and Jonathan P. Cox all of Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church Walpole on Tuesday Morning, August 23rd, 2005 @ 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Monday Afternoon 4pm to 8pm, in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. . Interment St. Francis Cemetery Walpole.
