Mary E. (Sullivan) Cassidy age 91 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital on Friday, January 18, 2008. Born in Walpole, Massachusetts on July 17, 1916 to her parents John & Margaret (Bailey) Sullivan, she graduated from the Boston School for the Deaf in Randolph, Massachusetts. She was a lifelong resident of Walpole.

She worked as an assembler for Analog Devices in Norwood, Massachusetts for 30 years.

Mrs. Cassidy was a member of the Deaf Club in Quincy, the Deaf Community Church in Framingham, and the New England Home for the Deaf in Danvers.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, searchwords, travel, and cooking.

She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother.

Beloved wife of the late Nicholas E. Cassidy Loving mother of Mary E. Dickinson of Brockton, John N. Cassidy of Foxboro, and Nicholas E. Cassidy of E. Walpole. Cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 8.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, January 25, 2008 from 5-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole followed by a funeral service at 8:00 PM. . Interment is private. Memorial donations may be made to: Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472.
