Mary A. (Petrovick) Anzlovar, age 92, passed away in the Milford Regional Medical Center on Monday, October 30, 2017. Born in her family's home on Bullard Street in Walpole. Massachusetts on September 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Karolina Petrovick. As a lifelong resident of Walpole, Mary graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1943. After graduation, she took an administrative position at Kendall Mills in Walpole.
Mary married her beloved husband, Tony W. Anzlovar on May 4, 1947. The young couple made their home together in Walpole, and after welcoming her children, Mary took on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her young family. As her children all reached school age, Mary returned to the working world taking a position with the Walpole Public Schools, working in the cafeterias of the Fisher and Stone Schools. In 1970, she took a position in the cafeteria of the Norfolk Agricultural High School, retiring 20 years later in 1990.
Family was most important to Mary, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and took an active role in caring for them. She made trips to Pennsylvania to visit with other relatives as well, and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren in Dutch Country. At home in Walpole, Mary always made her family feel welcome, cooking wonderful meals for everyone, and treating those she loved with her special homemade cookies.

Loving mother of Anthony F. Anzlovar and his wife Pam of Norfolk, Edward J. Anzlovar and his wife Debbie of Walpole, Nancy A. Palmer and her husband Tom of Franklin, and the late Carolyn A. Anzlovar.
Cherished grandmother of Craig A. Anzlovar of Medfield, Eric M. Anzlovar of Foxboro, Todd M. Anzlovar of Boston, Jonathan E. Anzlovar of Plainville, Jarrod M. Anzlovar of Millis, and Kirstin L. Palmer of Franklin and great grandmother of Charlotte S. Anzlovar.
Sister of Emil Petrovick of New Hampshire, the late William Petrovick, the late Dorothy Lawrie, and the late Helen Kulbock.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Mary's Life Celebration on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4-8 PM and Friday, November 3, 2017 from 9-9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
