Marjorie E. Yates

Mrs. Marjorie E. (Boyce) Yates age 89 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital , Norwood, Massachusetts on Monday Morning, August 25th, 2008. Born in Lexington, Massachusetts on July 5th, 1919, to her parents George W. and Mary Ellen (Hume) Boyce. Educated in Lexington, a 1936 graduate of Lexington High School.

Mrs. Yates was a retired teller at the Walpole Cooperative Bank.

A member of the Walpole Womens Club, the United Church in Walpole and an active supporter and member of the Friends of the Walpole Council on Aging.

A resident of Walpole for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Howard James "Jiggs" Yates, Sr. Loving mother of Susan E. Corbett of Jekyll Island, Georgia and Howard J. Yates, Jr. of Cumberland, Foreside, Maine. Cherished grandmother of Kristine Tummillo of Atlanta, Meredith Carter of Chicago, Benjamin Yates of Boston, and Daniel Yates of New York. Great grandmother of Josie and Cassidy Tummillo and Bella and Kate Carter. Sister of the late George Boyce, the late Arthur Boyce, the late Ethel Bears and the late Isabelle Moon

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the memorial service and luncheon to be held in the United Church in Walpole 30 Common St Walpole on Saturday, September 6th, 2008 @ 2 PM. Visiting hours and interment are private.
