Marilyn T. Wellock

Marilyn T. (Casey) Wellock age 80 years died in the Beverly Hospital in Beverly, Massachusetts on Sunday, December 28, 2008. Born in South Boston, Massachusetts on January 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Katherine (Connors) Casey. She graduated from the Girls High School in Boston with the class of 1946. Most recently she had been living in Danvers, Massachusetts, moving there from Maine, where she spent 14 years, and previously she lived in East Weymouth, Massachusetts.

She worked as a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company for 5 years.

Mrs. Wellock enjoyed sewing and cooking but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of Franklin B. Wellock. Loving mother of Brad and his wife Janet Wellock of Walpole, Stephen M. and his wife Gail Wellock of Virginia, Kathryn Wellock of Weymouth, Allison Wellock of South Carolina, William D. and his wife Sarah Wellock of North Andover, and Elizabeth Walsh of Boston. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 1. Sister of the late Robert Casey.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, January 1, 2009 from 2-6PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is private.
