Marilyn A. (Lawson) Adams, age 70, died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, April 19, 2014. Born in Norwood on October 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Eric F. and Mary E. (Crowley) Lawson. She graduated from Walpole High School in Walpole, Massachusetts with the class of 1961 and later from the Chandler School of Business in Norwood. She has been a resident of Franklin, Massachusetts since 1968 moving from Walpole.
She worked as a candy dipper for Watson’s Candies in Walpole for 50 years. Marilyn enjoyed traveling, tending to her flower gardens, and spending time with her friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of Clyde M. Adams, Jr. Loving mother of Tammy A. and her husband Kurt Boardman of Cherry Hill, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Travis and Kendall.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Marilyn’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 6-8 PM and Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 9-9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church 10 Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
