Marguerite I. (Anderson) "Peggy" Saegh, age 69, passed away in Norwood Hospital on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 4, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Marguerite I. (Burns) Anderson. She was raised in Dedham, Massachusetts and graduated from Dedham High School with the Class of 1966. After graduation, she took a secretarial position with the Norfolk and Dedham Insurance Company.
Peggy married her husband, Robert E. Saegh, on March 30, 1968 in Saint Mary's Church in Dedham. The young couple made their home together in West Roxbury and after welcoming their children, Peggy transitioned from the working world to become a homemaker, raising and caring for her young family. Peggy and Bob settled in Walpole, Massachusetts in 1970, where they raised their two sons, Brian and Scott.
As her sons grew up and were both enrolled in school, Peggy returned to work, taking a clerical position with the Plaza Meat Market in Westwood and later with Homsys Market in Westwood. She went on to work at the BMW Gallery of Norwood, where she worked in a secretarial role for 10 years.
Peggy kept a very busy social calendar, she enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and spending time on vacation at the beach. She looked forward to spending her summers with Bob on Cape Cod and loved taking trips to the area casinos. She was a former member of both Twin River and Foxwoods. Most of all, Peggy treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, Nicholas and Carly.

Loving mother of Scott E. Saegh and his wife Joni of Wrentham and the late Brian T. Saegh and his surviving wife Dianne Imbriani of Mansfield.
Cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Carly Imbriani.
Sister of Jean F. McLeish and her husband Kenneth of Dedham and the late James H. Anderson.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Peggy's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4-8 PM and Friday, May 19, 2017 from 11-11:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Maddie's Hope Fund, c/o Kristen Savoie, 43 Park Street, Norfolk, MA 02056, to benefit the children at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
