Margaret Mary Glynn

Margaret Mary Glynn, age 91, died in the Baypath Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Duxbury, Massachusetts on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 18, 1923, she graduated from Newton High School with the class of 1942. She continued her education at the Fashion Design School, graduating in 1945. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1969 moving from Dorchester.

Margaret was employed as the Senior Clerk at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Education. She retired in 1992 with 25 years of service.

She was a member of the Neponset Valley Hummell Club and the Walpole Council on Aging.

Devoted daughter of the late Joseph P. and Margaret G. (Noonan) Glynn. Loving sister of Patricia (McTighe) Capone of Walpole, the late John P. Glynn, and the late Francis X. Glynn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Margaret's Life Celebration on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 5-7 PM and Friday, June 13, 2014 from 8-8:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Old Calvary Cemetery in Boston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole, MA 02081.
