Margaret L. Eckhardt age 70 years died in the Highgate Manor in Dedham, Massachusets on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on November 14, 1938, she graduated from the Henry O. Peabody School with the class of 1956. She has been a resident of Quincy, Massachusetts, but lived most of her life in Norwood, Massachusetts.

She was a Unit Coordinator for the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts for 23 years.

Miss Eckhardt was the past president of both the National Dietary Managers Association and the Massachusetts Dietary Managers Association.

Devoted daughter of the late Stanley R. and M. Helen (Bowles) Eckhardt. Sister of Frances Porter of Mansfield, Mary Ellen Dikes of Georgetown, TX, and the late Patricia Cohen. Also survived by 5 nieces, 1 great niece, and 1 great nephew.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Monday at 10AM. Visiting hours are Monday morning from 9-10AM. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole. Memorial donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation 8301 Professional Place Landover, MD 20785-7223.
