Margaret F. Ambrose

Margaret F. Ambrose 87, of Roslindale passed away at Harrington House in Walpole after a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Roslindale, "Margie" graduated from Roslindale High School and Boston Teachers College.

She was a broker with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. for many years.

Margie's true passion in life was raising and training her show dogs. She raised several breeds from German Shepherds to her beloved Keyshounds. She won many championship competitions and had a vast collection of ribbons and trophies.

Margaret will be greatly missed by her brothers, William Ambrose and his wife Janette of Punta Gorda FL, and James Ambrose and his wife Leslie of Norfolk MA. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews and their children, and her dear friend Alice Thayer.

Funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers donations in Margaret's name may be made to the American Cancer Society,30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
