Malcolm E. Monk

March 11, 1933 — September 11, 2016

Malcolm E. Monk of Sharon, MA passed away peacefully on September 11th at the age of 83. Born in Painswick, England, Malcolm is survived by his wife Patricia of 60 years, his 3 children, Stephen, Susan, and Christina and their spouses, and his sister, Beverly who resides in Pitchcombe, England. His 2 grandchildren, Brian and Sarah and 2 step - grandchildren, Emma and Ruthie, mourn his loss. He will forever be remembered for his love of his vegetable garden, cooking and his gentle spirit.

Malcolm and Patricia emigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1957 after marrying and raised their children there. They moved to Rochester, NY in 1969 and then to Sharon, MA in 1981. They especially enjoyed entertaining family and friends from England, and devoted their time to their home and garden.
