Lowell E. Robinson, 83, of Norfolk, MA passed away March 21, 2018 at Maples Nursing Home, Wrentham, MA, surrounded by his loving family and favorite nurse, Melissa.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marion (Latopolski) from Long Island, NY, Daughter Janice LaFrance & husband Lee from Bolton, Daughter Elaine Grant & husband Luke from Norton, Son Craig Robinson & wife Jennifer from Franklin; Grandchildren Ava, Andrew, Morgan, Sarah, Alex and Zachary and one Great Grandchild, Ryder; Brother Keith Robinson & wife Martha from South Carolina.
Graduated from Amsterdam High School, Amsterdam, NY 1952. Attended the College of Environmental Science & Forestry, Syracuse NY in 1956 where he earned his degree in Landscape Architecture. Here, he and friends formed a jazz band, The Gators, whom have kept in touch through the years.
Served in the U.S. Army 1957-1962, mostly in Germany during the Cold War, then pursued his career as a landscape architect in Massachusetts which includes many plans he drew and projects he was active in for his residing town of Norfolk.
Lowell loved nature, walking in the woods, car racing, airplanes, trains and jelly beans. Also loved his church family at South Walpole Methodist Church which he was a member of for over 50 years. He was loved by so many for his sense of humor & articulation of words.
Per his final wishes, no public services or showings were held. Arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, Walpole.
