Louisa (Devriendt)Voginauer, 96, of Goffstown, NH, formerly of Walpole passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Bel-Air Nursing Home in Goffstown. She was born in Norwood, MA on October 8, 1915 to the late Alfred and Edith (Balduf) Devriendt.
Louisa lived most of her life in Walpole, moving to Goffstown, NH in August 2001. She worked for the Kendall Mills Company in Walpole MA for 39 years, retiring in 1977.
Louisa was an avid Boston sports fan who thoroughly enjoyed watching both Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox games. Several of her pets were named for some of her favorite Bruins players. Louisa also enjoyed traveling. In her lifetime, she saw much of the United States as well as parts of Canada. Gardening was another pastime. Louisa also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Hans Voginauer, her sister Elsie Small, her nephew Ramon Small, her sister-in-law Carolyn Devriendt, and her niece Karen Devriendt-Davis. She is survived by her brother Al J. Devriendt of Weare, NH and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the calling hours followed by a funeral service to be held at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Friday, May 11 from 9-11 AM. Burial to follow at Knowllwood Memorial Park in Canton, MA.
