Louis Francis Cercone

Louis Francis Cercone, Jr., a longtime resident of Walpole, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in the Lexington Health Care Center in Lexington, Massachusetts on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the age of 87. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on July 14, 1928, he was the son of the late Louis F. and Louise E. (Potenza) Cercone. He graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1945. After high school, Louis proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in the US and was honorably discharged in 1956.

As a builder by trade, Louis was a partner at Cerdom Realty Trust on Cape Cod.

Loving father of Michael Cercone of Marblehead, Lauren Cercone of Phoenix, Diane Cercone of Revere, Christopher Cercone of Concord, Faith Cercone of Foxboro and Leonard Cercone of Natick.
Cherished grandfather of Christopher J. Cercone, Victoria L. Cercone, Daniel M. Cercone, Tea Cercone and Noah Cercone.
Brother of Elizabeth Balboni of Medway and Nicholas "Buddy" Cercone of Waltham.

Funeral Service and visiting hours will be private at the request of his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Veterans' Advocacy Services, 220 Hill Rd, Groton, MA 01450. Arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, Walpole.
