Lori Ann (Shone) Cotter age 46 years died unexpectedly in her Roanoke, Virginia home on Thursday morning, May 29th, 2008. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 20th, 1961, the daughter of John William Shone , Jr and his wife Patricia Joy (O'Neil) Shone. She attended the Walpole Public Schools and was in the first graduating class from Tri County Regional High School, Class of 1980.
Lori has been a resident of Virginia for the past 12 years, moving there from Walpole.
She had a great love of the outdoors, especially camping. She also enjoyed music, and had been attending the Blue Grass Music Festival in Roanoke for a number of years.
Loving mother of Kristie L. Durning of South Walpole and Neil Cotter of Roanoke, Virginia. Devoted daughter of John W. and Patricia Joy (O'Neil) Shone Jr. of Walpole. Sister of Patricia Terilli of Haverhill, Kathleen Hanley of Walpole, Michael Shone of Randolph, Christine Shone of Attleboro and the late John W. Shone, III. Loving companion of Michael Perdue of VA and life long friend of Janet Scrima of Falmouth also survived by many nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt #27) @ Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday afternoon from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
