Lois B. Ellis

Mrs. Lois B. (Turner) Ellis age 85 years died in her Walpole home on Saturday evening, April 18, 2009. Born in Walpole on February 12, 1924, the daughter of George H. and Frances B. (Blaisdell) Turner. She graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1942. She was a life long resident of Walpole.

A Member of the Walpole Women's Club for 41 years. An active member of the United Church in Walpole.

Mrs. Ellis was very artisitc , she enjoyed painting and sewing. She and her husband loved to travel, they had been thoughout the United States, to Hawaii, and to the Islands. Beloved wife of the late William P. Ellis. Loving mother of Rev. Richard L. Ellis of Minnesota, Steven C. Ellis of Walpole, Janet E. Swarr of Franklin, and David J. Ellis of Augusta, Maine. Cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 3.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 @ 11AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 4pm to 7pm. Interment Terrace Hill Cemetery, Walpole.
