Linda M. (MacDonald) Johnson, age 61, passed away peacefully in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday, July 30, 2018. Born in Boston on December 30, 1956, she was the daughter of Alan and Claire (McCarthy) MacDonald. She was raised in Norwood, Massachusetts and graduated from Norwood High School with the Class of 1974. Linda continued her education at Fitchburg State College, earning her Bachelor's Degree in 1978, and began her working career in the education field. After a short time working in education, Linda began her career in computer programing, taking a position with Robbins and Company.
Linda married the love of her life, John H. Johnson, IV, on November 5, 1983 in Saint Catherine's Church in Norwood. The young couple initially made their home together in Norwood before settling in Walpole in 1993. Linda went on to take a position with Aurora in Rhode Island and later took positions with Dunkin Donuts in Bellingham and Crimson Rose in Rhode Island, working as an IT Business Analyst. Most recently, Linda was working at Logix Health in Bedford, continuing her career in the field of IT Business Analysis.
Linda enjoyed taking care of her home in Walpole, spending countless hours maintaining her house and yard. More than anything, Linda loved spending time with her family. She looked forward to family beach vacations at Horseneck Beach, Myrtle Beach, Cape Cod, and more recently, California. Linda was most happy when she was surrounded by those she loved, including her beloved beagle, Audrey.

Loving mother of Molly M. Johnson of Malden, Elizabeth C. Johnson of Walpole, and her niece, Megan E. Driscoll of Taunton.
Devoted daughter of Claire (McCarthy) MacDonald of Walpole and the late Alan MacDonald.
Sister of Susan Klug of Madison, Connecticut, David MacDonald of Norwood, Matthew MacDonald of Newburyport, and the late Judith Driscoll.
Sister in law of Lorraine Anderson of Poland, Maine, Carol Thornton of Norwood, and Luke Johnson of Norwood.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Linda's Life Celebration on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole, with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
