Lillian Petrino

Lillian (Meau) Petrino age 69 years died in the Caritas St. Elizabeth Medical Center on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Born on February 13, 1939 in Norwood, Massachusetts to her parents Joseph and Lillian (Gould) Meau, she graduted from Walpole High School with the class of 1957. She was a life long resident of Walpole.

She worked as an administrative assistant at Ingersol Rand for over 20 years, and later worked for the Sharon Inn and the Econo Lodge at the front desk.

Mrs. Petrino enjoyed knitting and cooking, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred N. Petrino. Loving mother of Alfred N. Petrino, Jr., Cheryl A. and her husband Paul Stelmash all of Walpole. Mother in law of Rosita Petrino of North Attleboro. Cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn Petrino, Nicholas Stelmash, and Cassandra Stelmash. Devoted daughter of Lillian G. (Gould) Meau of FL and the late Joseph Meau. Sister of Evelyn Hixson of Wareham, John Meau of Attleboro, Fred Meau of FL, Gary Meau of Wareham, and the late Joey Meau. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, April 28, 2008 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
