Leona G. Myatt

Leona G. (Zienowicz) Myatt age 95 years died in the Copley of Stoughton in Stoughton, Massachusetts on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Born in Cavendish, Vermont on January 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Jadwiga (Tarajkowska) Zienowicz. She graduated from the Black River Academy in Ludlow, Vermont. She was a resident of Ludlow, Vermont from 1924 to 2004 and began wintering in Deland, Florida in 1981. She became a full time resident of Deland in 2004.

She worked as an office manager for Jarvi's Radio and T.V. Store for 10 years and for GE in both Ludlow and Rutland, Vermont for 10 years. Mrs. Myatt was a member of the Women's Club and Ceramics Club in Ludlow for many years. She was also a volunteer for the Rod Cross Auxillary and was a member of the Vermont Club in Deland, Florida. She enjoyed working on crafts and gardening.

Beloved wife of the late Medrick N. Myatt. Loving mother of Larry M. Myatt of Sharon, MA and Medrick L. Myatt of Germany. Cherished grandmother of Bradley and Leanne Myatt of Sharon, and Rick and Mark Myatt of Germany. Sister of the late Charles D. Zienowicz and Major Victor A. Zienowicz. Aunt of Charles D. Zienowicz, Jr. of FL, Susan J. Melanson of FL, and Victor Doherty of Somerville, MA.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Church of Annunciation Depot Street Ludlow, VT on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Ludlow. Arrangements by James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home Walpole.
