Lena R. MacPherson

Mrs. Lena R. (Crognalo) MacPherson age 83 years died in the Woonsocket Health Care Center, Woonsocket, Rhode Island on Sunday Evening, January 6th, 2008. Born in Walpole at her parents home, the daughter of the late Panfilo and Mary (DePietro) Crognalo.

A 1941 graduate of Walpole Senior High School where she lettered in Field Hockey, and was the Captain of her team. A Homemaker for all of her adult life.

She was a resident of Norfolk formerly of most of her life in Walpole and 9 years in Franklin

To Lena her Family was everything Mrs. MacPherson enjoyed line dancing, and her walking group in Norfolk

Loving mother of Beverly Nigro of Mendon, Donald MacPherson, Kenneth A. MacPherson, Jr. of Wrentham, Paul B. MacPherson of North Smithfield, Rhode Island and the late Robin M. MacPherson. Cherish grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 4 Sister of Celia Colicchio of Foxboro Former wife of Kenneth A. MacPherson, Sr. of North Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church Route 27 (East Street) at Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, January 10, 2008 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, January 9, 2008 from 3pm to 7pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole, Massachusetts.
