Lee Gagne

August 18, 1933 — March 19, 2010

Lee Gagne age 76 years died in the Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts on Friday, March 19, 2010. Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on August 18, 1933; he was the son of the late Leon C. and Ella J. (Boucher) Gagne. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He has been a resident of Newtonville, Massachusetts for the past 30 years moving from Watertown, Massachusetts.

Mr. Gagne owned and operated G&M Lawnmower in Watertown.

He enjoyed raising racing pigeons; loved hockey, especially watching the Bruins; and loved to cook. He also enjoyed traveling with his companion, Barbara, to Boothbay Harbor, Maine, and Disney World in Florida.

Loving companion of Barbara Downey of Newtonville. Loving father of Ron and his wife Jean Gagne of Walpole. Cherished grandfather of Aimee-Lee, Jonathan, Anthony, and Annemarie Gagne all of Walpole. Brother of Lucille MacDonald of Holbrook. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 @ 12:00 Noon. Visiting hours are Monday, March 22, 2010 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: American Diabetes Association - Massachusetts 330 Congress Street 5th Floor Boston, MA 02210.
