Lawrence P. Shlonsky age 82 of Medfield died in Riverbend of South Natick Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on November 16, 2006. Born on December 12, 1923 in Manhattan, New York to his parents Samuel and Jenny (Munoz) Shlonsky, who came to the US as Russian Jewish Immigrants. He was raised in the Bronx.
In 1943 he joined the United States Army Signal Corp and served during World War II. He attended City College's School of Engineering and later went on to attend UCLA
Mr. Shlonsky was a basketball player and later began playing table tennis. He was a music lover, and piano player.
Beloved husband of Faith (Cowan) Shlonsky Loving father of Aron Shlonsky and his fiance Julie of Toronto, Canada, and Liana Dalton and her husband John of Medfield, Massachusetts Cherished grandfather of Richard Bader of Las Vegas, NV, Brian Bader, Johnny Dalton, and Patrick Dalton all of Medfield, MA Brother of Wita Ellman of Israel, and the late Evelyn Jachens. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friend Frankie.
