Lawrence J. DiGiusto age 70 years died unexpectedly in the Caritas Norwood Hospital on Monday, December 31, 2007. Born in Somerville, Massachusetts on February 13, 1937 to his parents Panfilo and Josephine (Bonanno) DiGiusto he graduated from Somerville High School with the class of 1954 and he went on to attend Northeastern University. He had been living in East Walpole for the past 35 years coming from Reading.
He worked for the Polaroid Corporation in Cambridge, Newton, and Norwood as a senior security administrator retiring in 2001.
Mr. DiGiusto enjoyed sports, gardening, his cats, and his retired friends, but most especially he loved spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of Jean C. (Boyd) DiGiusto Loving father of Christina J. DiGiusto of N. Attleboro and Lawrence J. DiGiusto, Jr. of E. Providence. Cherished grandfather of Sofia Marie DiGiusto brother of Mary Lou McManus of Wilmington, and the late Robert DiGiusto also survived by many nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt. 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 10AM. Visiting hours are Friday, January 4, 2008 from 3pm to 7pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery Everett, Massachusetts.
