Laura M. Nannicelli died in the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood, Massachusetts on Friday, January 7, 2011. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 20, 1917, she was raised in Hyde Park and graduated from Hyde Park High School with the class of 1936. She has been a resident of East Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 23 years moving there from West Roxbury, where she spent 20 years.
She worked as a customer service representative for the Boston Edison Company in the Prudential Center in Boston.
Devoted daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary C. (Amicangioli) Nannicelli. Beloved sister of Marie N. Keezer of East Walpole, Elizabeth H. Badala of Walpole, the late Emilio Nannicelli, the late John Nannicelli and the late Arthur Nannicelli. Loving godmother of Marybeth Connolly of Foxborough. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, Massachusetts. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
