Kevin Kelly

Kevin Kelly, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham, Massachusetts. Born in Brookline, Massachusetts on December 16, 1948, he was the son of Thomas and Margaret (Doyle) Kelly. Kevin was raised in Brookline and attended Brookline High School. After graduation, Kevin took EMT classes through the City of Boston. 

Kevin married the love of his life, Susan A. Cleary on May 13, 1971, in the North End of Boston. The pair made their married home in Boston. Here, Kevin took a role as an EMT with Boston EMS, becoming a sergeant in 1973. He later became the Director of Operations for a private ambulance company, before moving to Walpole, Massachusetts. 

In his free time, Kevin enjoyed fishing and golfing. He enjoyed camping and spending time in the woods. Over the years he built up a large stamp collection that he loved to share with others. To relax, Kevin would enjoy putting together puzzles. He was a proud father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Beloved husband of Susan A. (Cleary) Kelly 

Loving father of Kerri-Ann Marshall, and her husband Stephen, of East Walpole, Christine J. Ross, and her husband James, of North Attleborough, Sarah Nelligan, and her husband Sean, of New Bedford, and the late Kevin Paul Kelly. 

Cherished grandfather of Jackson, Elle, and Morgan and Brianna and Colin 

Brother of Thomas Kelly of Walpole, John Kelly of Washington, DC, Sheila Long of Carver, Maureen O’Kelley of Rockport, Kathleen Kelly of California, Margaret Pavlov of California, William Kelly of Sherborn, Joseph Kelly of Florida, the late James Kelly, Francis Kelly, and Terrance Kelly. 

Brother-in-law to Maureen Cleary of South Boston, Charles Cleary of Walpole and Timothy Cleary of Walpole. 

Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

At the request of Kevin’s family, all services will be private.
