Kevin P. Dunn

Kevin P. Dunn, age 63 years, died in his Walpole, Massachusetts home on Friday, March 28, 2014. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 25, 1950, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Ashe) Dunn. He graduated from Hyde Park High School with the class of 1969 and attended Bridgewater State College. Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1977 moving from West Roxbury.

He was employed as a machinist for the MBTA for 23 years in the Machine Shop in Everett.

Kevin was a long time member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole. As an athlete, he enjoyed playing sports throughout his entire life. He played football in high school and also played with the Hanna Club in South Boston. He was also an avid tennis player. In his later years, he took up golf and became a member of the Brook Meadow Country Club in Canton.

Beloved husband of Patricia A. (O'Malley) Dunn. Loving father of Kevin P. Dunn, Jr. and his wife Kendall (Schieding) of Peterborough, NH and Patrick M. Dunn of Walpole. Brother of Thomas V. Dunn of Dedham, Margaret Kates of Stuart, FL, Francis Dunn of Plymouth, A. Joe Dunn of Prescott, AZ, Mary Santoli of Norton, the late John Dunn and the late James Dunn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Kevin’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 4-8 PM and Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 9-9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church 10 Diamond Street Walpole on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Walpole. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lung Cancer Research, c/o Dr. Marcoux, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
