Kevin Patrick Cunnane

Kevin Patrick Cunnane, age 65, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 9, 1951, he was the son of Bernard and Teresa (Folliard) Cunnane. He was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts, where he was a stand-out scholar athlete at Walpole High School, before graduating with the Class of 1969. Kevin went on to attend Lake Forrest College in Illinois, where he played football and baseball, graduating in 1973 with an economics degree.

Kevin married his high school sweetheart, Janice in 1976, and together they made their home in Wrentham, where they celebrated 40 years together. Kevin had a long career as a vice president in the banking industry. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always loved to laugh and joke with his family and friends.

He was a kind, gentle and loving man, who was an avid Boston sports fan, golfer and reader. A true competitor, he was always eager to playing sports, cards or games. Kevin loved spending time with his family. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his grandsons, Cameron and Connor.

Loving father of Jason P. and his wife Courtney Cunnane of Hingham, and Eric R. and his wife Jaime Cunnane of Boston.
Cherished grandfather of Cameron and Connor.
Devoted son of Teresa N. (Folliard) Cunnane of Walpole and the late Bernard Cunnane. Brother of Michael Cunnane of Walpole, Brian J. Cunnane of Seattle, and Richard J. Cunnane of Lexington.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Kevin's Life Celebration on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 4-8 PM and Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 8-8:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary's Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
