Kathy Elizabeth Turco

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Kathy Elizabeth Turco, 76, who departed peacefully at her home in Walpole, Massachusetts on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, she was the cherished daughter of the late Edward L. and Dorothy I. (Jackson) Hartmann.

Kathy’s early years were marked by moves that shaped her life, from Seekonk to Haddonfield, NJ, before establishing roots in Walpole. As the third of six children, she fostered deep bonds with her siblings that lasted throughout her life. After graduating from Walpole High School in 1967, she began her professional journey at The Foxboro Company. Her life took a beautiful turn in 1969 when she met Robert Michael Turco, who would become her lifelong companion. They sealed their love in marriage on October 19, 1974, at Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole.

Kathy found joy in life’s simple pleasures- tending to her home and enjoying the Food Channel. Above all, her greatest happiness came from family gatherings, and Kathy always made every Christmas special and full of love. She also always remembered and acknowledged her nieces and nephews’ birthdays.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert M. Turco of Walpole, MA, and her loving siblings: Edward L. Hartmann Jr. and wife Judith of Walpole, Pamela H. O’Neil and her partner Paul Ryan of Walpole, and Robert J. Hartmann and wife Lori of Windsor, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Hartmann MacKay and Michael G. Hartmann. Her memory will live on through her many cherished nieces and nephews.
